It’s time to review the reviewers!

 

The Fatal Crash Review Board was created by the Indianapolis City Council in June of 2022. Unfortunately, the board was not given the authority to make actual changes. This lack of a mandate to act has unsurprisingly resulted in zero actions in the two years since the board’s creation.

 

HOW THIS WILL WORK

• My goal is to review a fatal ped/bike incident in all 25 city council districts

• Each write-up will review the incident, recommend immediate and long-term actions, and include supporting visuals.

• Appropriate City Council contacts will also be identified for each incident.

• The Resources page will be built out as we go. Some posts will refer you to that page to explain recurring concepts and to direct you to important external resources.
